Understanding Business Financial Statements and Cash Flow Budgets

If you are an owner of a corporation or serve as a board of directors on a non-for-profit organization, it is important to understand how to read through the business’ financial statements. Financial statements are often reviewed by government agencies, banks, stakeholders, donors and other to ensure accuracy and for tax, financing or investing purposes. Understanding the corporation’s financial statements and cash flow budgets can help you extract important data about the financial performance of the entity to be able to make decisions regarding the allocation of resources.
